A quick guide to what we print in — strengths, trade-offs, and what each one is best for.

PLAEasy to print, crisp detail, budget-friendly, plant-based.Low heat resistance; can be brittle under stress.Prototypes, display models, figurines, indoor décor, low-stress parts.
PETGTough and durable with a little flex; water- and chemical-resistant.Can string while printing; detail slightly softer than PLA.Functional parts, outdoor use, brackets, protective housings, containers.
ABS / ASAImpact- and heat-resistant, sandable; ASA adds UV stability.Can warp on large prints; best with an enclosure/ventilation.Enclosures, automotive parts, tooling, outdoor fixtures (ASA).
TPU (Flexible)Rubber-like and bendable; abrasion- and tear-resistant.Prints slowly; not for rigid or load-bearing parts.Gaskets, seals, grips, bumpers, phone cases, wearables.

How much infill do you need?

Infill is the internal lattice that fills your part. More infill means more strength and weight — and a little more cost and print time. Here's how to choose.

Strong · 40%Noticeably stiffer and more durable for working parts.Heavier; more material and print time than standard.Functional parts, brackets, mounts, moderate stress.
Solid · 100%Maximum strength and density — essentially solid plastic.Heaviest and most expensive; longest to print.Load-bearing, structural, high-stress or high-wear parts.
